I Can Read
Is a program designed to increase reading literacy and excitement. In this 4 – 6 week program individuals will learn new genres of reading while cultivating stronger reading skills.
Community Conflict
Training
Is established to help provide individuals a variety of tools to prevent potential violence. The goal of CCT is to offer insight and practical strategies to individuals and groups who are challenged with daily conflict.
Voter Registration
ILS has partnered with EVC to register Michigan voters. To narrow the voter registration gap in communities of color.
Music Matters
Teaches music theory, instrumentation, and creative expression. These learned and adaptable skills foster cognitive, emotional, and social skills essential to overall academic and personal success.
The League of Extraordinary Men
The League is a male mentoring group for 9th -12th graders. This program consists of career exploration, decorum, social skills, financial and technological literacy, personal grooming and goal setting.
